Blue Ridge Horseman's Association Operating the Anita-Alta BRHA Youth & Horse Camp located at 2929 Mulberry Creek Road, Lenoir, NC 28645


The primary purpose of the Blue Ridge Horseman's Association is to improve, expand and to protect existing lands open to horseback riding on public and private lands in North Carolina.
 


Our club land is 375 acres and is adjacent to Boone Fork Recreation Park in the Pisgah National Forest which has 43,380 acres.  We have horse trailer camping, tent camping, and we also have cabins available.  Most of the campsites are located on Mulberry Creek.  We also  have hot showers and  picnic pavilions along with miles of horse trails.

If you have a group that may be interested in renting the property by the day or week, call our caretaker at 828-758-5528 formore information.

 

We are presently registered as a volunteer organization with the United States Forestry Service. Our goal is to organize members to assist in the maintenance and improvement of trails and camping facilities in and around the Pisgah National Forest.

Club meetings are held the 4th Tuesday of every month except December.  Meetings are held at Tractor Supply on Blowing Rock Boulevard in Lenoir.  There is always a meal available before the meeting for a small donation.  Our next meeting  will be held on Tuesday, August 24th, at Tractor Supply in Lenoir at 6:30 PM
